  • new dunhill packaging

    new-dunhill

yeahhhhh.. pasalubong ni mahals galing abrowd. hehehe. mahal neto sa duty free hah! $21!!! kalokohan! (pero maghohoard na siguro ako next month kung di pa toh lumabas dito sa pinas..)

according to what i’ve read so far, dunhill revamped its packaging last 2009 (i guess that’s why napull-out ang mga dunhill sa pinas at nagkaron ng panic attack si hrudu at titakosivilma).

The Russian consumers will be the first who see the new stylish Dunhill packaging. The cigarettes are produced at St. Peterburg factory using new Reloc technology and available at retail from April 2009.  source

the reloc technology is supposed to lock in freshness and ensure quality even after you’ve opened the pack (alam naman natin ang lasa ng lipas na yosi diba? or hindi? heh.) Now whether it’s effective or not, I still have to check.

ang cool din naman ng mga yosi na toh, nagiinnovate. I guess that’s what you do when most countries in the world want to stop its citizens from smoking :)

  • any feedback on Newfield International?

I always see their ad on the Sunday classifieds… and I’m actually interested to take classes. I need more web design exposure -  in dlsu we had graphics/web design subjects, but seriously,  that’s very much antiquated because I remember editing my photos on Adobe Photoshop 5, and coding my html on NOTEPAD. tell me if that ain’t jurassic enough?

Ang mura lang, P1,999. and forever na ata yung promo nila. When I visited their site, I didn’t see any information on web-graphic training, but instead found call center training.. so… ewan. One thing that’s stopping me also is the distance… anu ba… TIMOG.  Pero, let’s see. I still have to do my research. Will update this post if I find anything new.

Updates – check the comments section! Thanks to everyone who posted comments, it’s a huge help to those looking for info! :)

I am copy/pasting this from the huffington post so I will always remember. Maybe you should too? :)

4 Addictions That Destroy Your Dreams. They’re not the addictions you’re most familiar with—alcohol, drugs, gambling, and such. Instead, what’s discussed here are the roots of so many people’s issues—issues that are often the true causes of destructive personal behavior. Offered by Tom Ferry, author of Life! By Design, the addictions are:

    1) The Addiction to opinions of other people. As a society, we’re addicted to what others think about us and how others’ views of the world affect us.

    2) The Addiction to drama. Some people are drawn to and consumed by any event or situation that occupies their thoughts and fills their mind with negativity, which often brings attention to them in unproductive ways.

    3) The Addiction to the past. These people have an unhealthy attachment to events or situations that have occurred in the past. They’re stuck in how things used to be.

    4) The Addiction to worry. This addiction is comprised of all the negative and self-defeating thoughts that make us anxious, disturbed, upset and stressed, that hold us back in life.

    TAKE THE QUIZ:

Tom Ferry’s Sure Signs of Four Addictions — these are merely ideas to help you identify how each addiction could be showing up in your life. Do not reject the addiction if you don’t relate to the six examples in each category. Think about situations in your life that might be more relevant to you.

The Addiction to the Opinions of Others

    1. You Are Concerned About What Others Are Saying or Think About You.

    4. You Are Constantly Seeking Other People’s Approval or Avoiding Their Disapproval.

    4. You Have a Tendency Toward Over Reacting Versus Rational Behavior.

    5. Everything Is a Bigger Deal Than It Actually Is.

    6. You’re a Pot Stirrer.

    The Addiction to the Past

    1. You Constantly Talk About the Past and the Way Things Used to Be.

    2. You Resist Change.

    3. You Continually Fail to Plan for a Better Future.

    4. You Argue for the Past That Things Used to be Better.

    5. You’ve Allowed Relationships to Become Stale, Uninteresting and Without Passion.

    6. You have Physically or Mentally Peaked.

    The Addiction to Worry

    1. You’re Depressed, Concerned and Fearful about Everything.

    2. You Spend Time with Other Worriers.
