Next Sweldo: You, Me & A HUGE Crab in white wine, garlic, and olive oil (or the Crab Maritess - Crab sauteed in olive oil, white wine and chilies). I concentrated mainly on the crab, and I think I looked like I enjoyed it too much because nobody tried to take it away from my part of the table. My brothers had ribs, and ordered a few other things at New Orleans (the resto beside it).
The items on the menu were a bit pricey (i mean i could get really fat crabs at the seafood wharf for 1/3 of the price of the one in ClawDaddy, and yeah, I’m NOT rolling in dough), but I think well worth the price.
We went there on a Sunday, and man, was it busy! There was a guy who was obviously pissed and castigating the poor waitress (because they still haven’t gotten his damn hot towels) and it took forever to get some of the items we ordered, but they were very apologetic about it, and it seemed like they were undermanned that day, so we just tried to understand(for the love of delicious crabs, I was willing to wait). Also, I could picture my friend’s husband, Parker, say in the background, “as long as it’s delicious food, we’re willing to wait”(anawangin 2008!).
Overall it was a good experience. Definitely going back
